Grandmaster Kenneth Denson
”Throughout my 55 year journey of practicing and training the many disciplines of physical survival, I’ve come to understand why it is so important to practice what I believe as being real. What works for my body structure may not for the structure of someone else. Once my training became one with my physical structure, it was much easier for me to build a foundation of what it takes for me to implement a solution to survive beyond the moment.“
The Grandmaster and Founder of our studio is Grand Master Kenneth Denson. Grandmaster Denson was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. After many years of teaching Karate, Grandmaster Denson opened his own studio on August 20, 2021.
His experience in Martial Arts extends over 55 years and spans many martial art disciplines. Grandmaster Denson possesses a 6th Degree Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do. But his skill set goes beyond traditional Karate and extends to Boxing and Aikido. His unique style of martial art incorporates the best parts of various martial art disciplines, and he applies these disciplines in an effective and devastating manner. Because of his experience, we are fortunate to have a very complete and unique curriculum in Martial Arts at our school.
Grandmaster Denson teaches his students karate, and more importantly, valuable and practicle self defense principles. Children receive lessons that improve physical strength and mental discipline. Grand Master Denson’s proudest achievement is the number of children he has helped with ADD, ADHD, learning disabilities and other scholastic and behavior problems. Adult students learn practical, functional, and applicable martial arts techniques that make sense in today’s world.
Grandmaster Denson teaches his art in a family atmosphere. His emphasis has always been the well being of his students, not just teaching karate. Although martial arts is meant for self defense, Grandmaster Denson’s true goal is self improvement.
